Video Game Development Contest Needs Voters for Puzzle Games

May 26, 2004 -- SleazySoft is sponsoring the second EFNet #Gamedev Codefest. Three contestants have toiled for an entire week to create addictive puzzle games. The winner of the contest is decided by a public vote. The voting is simple and does not require any registration. If you'd like to help out the indie game development scene, stop by and cast your vote or just check out some screen shots. Voting ends at 11:59PM EST on Sunday May 30th, 2004.

Ryan Broomfield, of Shippy (http://www.shippysite.com) fame, created Shippy Attack; an addictive block matching game.

Eric Salerno, lead programmer of SleazySoft (http://www.sleazysoft.com), has entered "Chicken Swarm." In this exciting and unique round 'em up style game, the player must gather up a bunch of wily chickens and get them to the safety of a barn.

Ghaleon, a mysterious student of video game design, has entered "Attaq." Players have their choice of hero and must link together chains of jewels to score points and defeat the boss.
