GROUPBOARD.COM RELEASES MULTI PLAYER JAVA GAMES

BELFAST, UK - June 11, 2001 --
Today sees the launch of a set of multi-player Java games which people
can put on their websites for free. The games have been added to
Groupboard.com, which already allows users to put multi-user whiteboards,
chat and message boards on their web pages by simply copying a few
lines of html code. Initially, users will be able to play simple board
games such as chess, with more games being planned for release later
in the year including a tank combat game.

The Groupboard site has been in operation for over 3 years, with
a steadily growing user base over that time. The website is
essentially an ASP (Application Service Provider) for multi-user
java applets, allowing users to put fully fledged client-server
applications on their web page without having to host the server
software themselves.

David Jameson, Managing Director, commented "Up until now we have
earned most of our revenue from licensing our technology to software
developers and websites. With the launch of our multi-player games we intend
to concentrate more on the Internet consumer market, which is potentially
massive. At the moment there is very little interactive content on
the Internet, but this is going to change in the next few years when
people realise the true potential of having always-on broadband
connections such as ADSL."
